08:40 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) said on Monday that it would provide free home chargers and installation for customers purchasing or leasing electric vehicles.

The automaker said the free charger and installation benefit applies to customers who buy or lease a retail Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning or E-Transit.

It added that Ford Pro fleet customers are covered with a commercial charging cash incentive.

The company did not disclose financial costs related to undertaking the project.
