08:22 AM EDT, 05/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) workers at the company's two plants in Cologne, Germany, plan to go on strike Wednesday, Reuters reported Monday, citing unidentified labor leaders.

The labor union, IG Metall, said in a press release on its website 93.5% of its workers at the Cologne plants voted May 8 for a strike.

Ford and IG Metall did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
