09:47 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) said Wednesday its Q2 vehicle sales were up 1% year over year.

The company sold 536,050 vehicles in total during the quarter, up from 531,662 vehicles in the year-ago period.

Truck sales were up 4.5% year over year to 308,920 units while SUV sales declined 5.3% to 213,393 units from a year earlier, results showed.

Electric vehicle sales rose 61.4% year over year to 23,957 units while hybrid vehicle sales jumped 55.6% from a year earlier to 53,822 units.
