06:55 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) and workers at its River Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan have reached a tentative labor agreement, the United Auto Workers said Wednesday.

Local 600's Tool & Die Unit reached a deal that includes job security in the face of 3D printing advances and eliminates wage disparities for skilled workers, the union said.

The 500 workers at the plant will vote on the agreement in the coming days.

The union said the deal "will set a new standard" for skilled workers at Ford.

Ford did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
