05:43 AM EDT, 06/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) is recalling 548,463 vehicles in US because the chrome trim on the center console may peel and create sharp edges that could injure occupants, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Thursday.

The regulator said the recall affects certain model-year 2018 to 2024 Ford Expedition vehicles.

Dealers will inspect affected vehicles and replace the center console as needed at no cost to owners, it added.
