Ford to Recall 1.5 Million Vehicles in US Due to Rearview Camera Defect

06:58 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) is recalling nearly 1.5 million vehicles due to a rearview camera defect causing a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Monday.

The recall impacts vehicles including certain models of Lincoln MKC and Mustang, according to a notice.

Dealers of the impacted vehicles will inspect and replace the rearview camera free of charge, the NHTSA said.
