Foremost Clean Energy Reports Higher-Grade Uranium Assays From Hatchet Lake Drill Program in Saskatchewan
Oct 29, 2025 8:53 AM

11:24 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Foremost Clean Energy ( FMST ) on Wednesday reported final geochemical assay results from its 2025 winter drill program at its Hatchet Lake Uranium Property in the eastern Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan.

The company said that the final assays have resulted in a significant increase in the grade of the uranium mineralization reported for drill hole TF-25-16, which was the highlight from the 10-hole, 2,400-meter diamond drill program the company completed earlier this year.

Among highlights, the company stated that the assay results confirm and elevate the potential from the uranium discovery previously reported from drill hole TF-25-16.

The company added that the assay results indicate 6.2 meters (from 144.0 to 150.2 meters) of total mineralization with a grade of 0.10% U3O8, associated with broad alteration features and Graphitic Shear Zone indicating potential proximity to a larger mineralizing system.

"The discovery hole, TF-25-16, was the first hole to test a 600-meter gap in historical drilling," said Foremost's president and chief executive officer Jason Barnard. "The assay results have upgraded our expectations for this area, with a 6.2 meter zone of mineralization that is now headlined by a 0.45 meter interval of nearly 1% U3O8. Follow-up drilling indicates the presence of a fertile system with strong, structural and alteration controls typical of unconformity related deposits within the Athabasca Basin."

The company further added that a ground gravity survey is planned for winter 2025-2026 over the SE extension of the Richardson trend over and extending beyond the Athabasca Basin margin, which will seek to outline gravity anomalies which may indicate the presence of hydrothermal alteration.

Foremost Clean Energy ( FMST ) added that, in connection with these additional investigations, it is developing exploration plans for a 2026 winter drill program.

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.30 to $5.30 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
