Foremost Clean Energy Starts 2025 Drilling Program at Hatchet Uranium Project

08:36 AM EDT, 04/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Foremost Clean Energy ( FMST ) on Friday said it began the 2025 exploration drill program at the Hatchet Lake Uranium Project, located in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan.

The company said the drill testing is expected to evaluate the project's top exploration prospects at both the Tuning Fork target area and Richardson target area.

"This program represents a significant step forward for Foremost, launching our first exploration drill program in the Athabasca Basin, designed to evaluate several discovery-ready target areas on well-situated and advanced exploration project that is part of our unique collaboration with Denison Mines ( DNN )" (DML.TO) said Foremost Chief Executive Jason Barnard.

Shares of the company closed down 0.9% to $1.160 on Thursday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
