07:52 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Forsys Metals ( FOSYF ) reported Tuesday interim results from its 2024 drilling program at the Valencia deposit within the Norasa uranium project in Namibia.
Results from 4,332 meters of drilling completed so far include 194 parts per million (ppm) uranium over 232 meters, including 416 ppm over 43 meters.
The result was from borehole VA24-022, which intersected the widest grade interval.
Forsys said 22 of the first percussion drill holes intersected uranium mineralization. Four PQ diameter diamond holes are underway at Valencia main to retrieve metallurgical samples.
The company plans to drill a total of 8,512 meters under the program.
Forss's share price fell 1.9% yesterday to $1.02.
