12:24 PM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortinet ( FTNT ) said Tuesday it has acquired data protection firm Next DLP to enhance its data loss prevention and Unified secure access service edge solutions.

Fortinet ( FTNT ) said it intends to integrate Next DLP's technology to enhance its security service edge with data loss prevention features and to incorporate more insider risk and data protection functionalities across the Fortinet ( FTNT ) security fabric.

The deal was finalized on Monday, Fortinet ( FTNT ) said. Financial details were not disclosed.

Fortinet ( FTNT ) shares were up 1.4% in recent trading.
