11:01 AM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortinet ( FTNT ) said Friday it had completed its acquisition of cloud security company Lacework.

The deal adds an application-protection platform to Fortinet's ( FTNT ) Security Fabric product, the company said.

"The combination will allow customers to protect what's happening inside the cloud app along with what's happening between the app and the outside world," Fortinet ( FTNT ) said.
