Fortis Renewing At-The-Market Equity Program

03:58 PM EST, 12/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortis ( FTS ) on Monday announced it is renewing its at-the-market equity program, allowing it to issue up to $500 million of shares from time to time, at its discretion, to fund its capital program.

The program will be effective until Jan. 10, 2027, and the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The utility holding company said the shares will be sold through the Toronto Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, or other marketplaces at the prevailing market price at the time of sale.

Fortis ( FTS ) shares were last seen down $0.77 to $62.21 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
