09:05 AM EDT, 05/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fortrea ( FTRE ) said Monday that Chairman and Chief Executive Thomas Pike is stepping down from his roles.

The company said it has named Peter Neupert, lead independent director, as interim CEO and board chair, starting Tuesday.

An executive search is at an advanced stage, the company added.

Fortrea's ( FTRE ) stock was up 15% in recent Monday premarket activity.
