Fortress Biotech Closes Sale of Checkpoint Therapeutics Unit

11:27 AM EDT, 05/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fortress Biotech ( FBIO ) said Friday it completed the sale of its Checkpoint Therapeutics unit to Sun Pharmaceutical Industries.

Fortress said the deal closed Friday, after which it will receive about $28 million and is eligible for an additional contingent value right of up to $4.8 million, plus a royalty of 2.5% on future net sales of Unloxcyt.
