06:42 AM EST, 12/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortuna Mining ( FSM ) on Tuesday released updated mineral reserves and mineral resources for the Seguela mine in Cote d'Ivoire.

The new inferred resources include more than 500,000 gold ounces. Proven and probable mineral reserves are reported containing 1.0 million ounces of gold. Measured and indicated resources exclusive of mineral reserves are reported containing 396,000 gold ounces.

Inferred mineral resources are reported containing 677,000 gold ounces, which includes maiden inferred resources containing 294,000 ounces for Kingfisher and 61,000 ounces for Badior, as well as an additional 141,000 ounces of underground inferred resource at the Sunbird deposit.

For the full year 2024, the Seguela mine is expected to produce at the upper range of 126,000 to 138,000 gold ounces.
