Fortune Bay Starts Drilling at Murmac Uranium Project in Saskatchewan

08:08 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortune Bay ( FTBYF ) on Wednesday said it started drilling at its Murmac Uranium Project on the northern margin of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan.

The drilling program is being funded by Aero Energy (AERO.V), and is being operated by Fortune Bay ( FTBYF ), under an option agreement. The program will test 10 to 13 targets and explore for high-grade basement-hosted uranium deposits.

Two occurrences of strong to intense radioactivity were discovered at the surface while scouting the initial drill site locations, Fortune Bay ( FTBYF ) said.
