05:29 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Forum Energy Technologies ( FET ) said Thursday it received a contract to supply a submarine rescue vehicle, a launch and recovery system, and a decompression system for the Indonesian Navy.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The submersible will be built at the company's facility in Yorkshire, England, while the launch and recovery system will be manufactured at its facility in Bryan, Texas.

The rescue vehicle will feature an integrated hyperbaric rescue facility, operate at depths up to 605 meters, and carry up to 20 people. Sea trials are expected in 2028, according to the company.
