08:55 AM EDT, 04/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Forward Air ( FWRD ) said Tuesday it has appointed Shawn Stewart as chief executive and a board director, effective Sunday.

Stewart will Interim CEO Michael Hance.

Stewart will join the company from CEVA Logistics, where he most recently was the president of North America, Forward added.

Hance will remain as Forward's chief legal officer and secretary, the company said.
