11:30 AM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Founders Metals ( FDMIF ) on Thursday highlighted drill-core assay results from its fully-funded 2024 drill program at the Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname.
The results are from the remaining eight drill holes from phase one of drilling at the Donut Zone, the company said.
Among the highlights from the West Donut Shear Discovery, the company said a new shear zone was intercepted in four holes over 150 meters of strike.
This includes 4.5 meters of 3.27 grams per tonne of gold from 15.6 meters downhole (24DO04); 12 meters of 0.84 grams per tonne of gold from 12.6 meters (24DO13); 27 meters of 0.73 grams per tonne of gold from 26.1 meters (24DO14); and 16.5 meters of 2.35 grams per tonne of gold from 26.1 meters Hole 24DO02.
From the Main Donut Shear, the results included 8 meters of 6.64 grams per tonne of gold from 247 meters (Hole 24DO13); 19 meters of 1.02 grams per tonne of gold from 99 meters (Hole 24DO09); and 6 meters of 3.10 grams per tonne of gold from 181 meters (Hole 24DO15).
The company's shares were last seen up $0.03 to $1.77 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
