09:25 AM EST, 02/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fox (FOX, FOXA) said Monday it has purchased Red Seat Ventures, which will operate as a standalone unit within Tubi Media Group.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The company said Red Seat's business spans podcasts, video, subscriptions, and live events, including the CrimeCon series.

Red Seat will continue to be led by its founders, Chris Balfe and Kevin Balfe, while Tubi Media Group Chief Executive Paul Cheesbrough will serve as chairman of the unit, Fox said.
