Fox News Sued by Hunter Biden for Using 'Intimate Images' Without Consent in Fictional Miniseries
Jul 1, 2024 1:29 PM

04:05 PM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fox's (FOX) Fox News unit has been sued by Hunter Biden for using "intimate images" of him without consent in the fictionalized miniseries "The Trial of Hunter Biden."

The lawsuit, filed Sunday in New York state court, claims the series exploits Biden's likeness for commercial gain, causing him "severe emotional distress, humiliation, and mental anguish," as well as reputational damage. The six-part series on Fox News' Fox Nation streaming service portrays a "mock trial" with real emails and hacked images. Despite removal April 30, promotional clips remain online, the lawsuit says.

Biden is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as an injunction to stop further dissemination of the images, according to the lawsuit.

Fox didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
