10:59 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fox (FOX) said Tuesday it has picked TIME as its first external publishing partner to use the Verify tool for content licensing and verification strategy.

Verify, which was launched by Fox on the public Polygon Proof-of-Stake network in January, uses blockchain to cryptographically sign each piece of original journalism. This allows consumers to independently verify content using the Verify tool, the company said.

Shares of Fox rose 1.2% in recent trading activity on Tuesday.
