01:15 PM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Franklin Wireless ( FKWL ) has signed a memorandum of understanding with semiconductor design firm AiM Future to jointly develop a lightweight AI model that can be run on microcontroller units, AiM Future said Thursday.

They also plan a System-on-Chip chipset with AI processing capability of 1 tera operations per second, the company said.

The chipset will be integrated with a communication chip to create a module for communication + AI application businesses, with an initial focus on the North American market, it added.
