07:24 AM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Freegold Ventures ( FGOVF ) reported Thursday additional results from ongoing metallurgical test work on drill hole composites from its 2020-2022 drill programs at the Golden Summit project in Alaska.
The company said it achieved total gold recovery of over 93% from a composite comprised of core from eight drill holes representing the Dolphin/Cleary resource area.
"The results indicate that a gold recovery rate of 93% can be achieved using standard and commercially employed mineral processing operations," the company said.
Freehold said the primary areas of focus in the next phase of metallurgical test work are in progress and include comminution studies using half PQ core, and flotation concentrate oxidation pre-treatment.
Freehold's share price fell 4.9% on Wednesday to $0.98 on the TSX.
