12:28 PM EDT, 10/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Freegold Ventures ( FGOVF ) on Monday released results from four additional drill holes at the Golden Summit project in Alaska.
The company has completed 43 drill holes to date, totaling about 28,000 meters, with an additional five holes currently in progress. It said a substantial number of assay results are still pending.
Hole GS2520, drilled as an infill hole in the northern part of the Dolphin Zone, demonstrated the potential for higher-grade mineralization closer to the surface in the northern portion of the Dolphin deposit. Holes GS2507 and GS2512, two PQ core holes from the current program, were drilled to the north and both intersected broad zones of higher-grade mineralization.
Hole GS2506 which was drilled to the north to infill the deposit in the Cleary area further, continued "to show the potential" for broader zones of higher-grade mineralization, intersecting 1.62 grams per tonne gold over 45.7 metres. The company said ongoing work also supports the commencement of a Pre-Feasibility Study, including cultural resource assessments, paleontology, and groundwater characterization studies.
Shares of the company were last seen up $0.04 to $1.38 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
