FreightCar America Q4 Swings to Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Increases; Shares Rise After Hours

05:06 PM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FreightCar America ( RAIL ) reported a Q4 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.21 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.16 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.05.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $137.7 million, up from $126.6 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $152 million.

The company said it expects 2025 revenue of $530 million to $595 million. Two analysts polled by FactSet expect $589.7 million.

Shares of FreightCar America ( RAIL ) were up over 17% in recent after-hours activity.
