French car lobby PFA: there can only be losers in a trade war
Mar 27, 2025 2:54 AM

PARIS (Reuters) - The French car lobby PFA said on Thursday that there can only be losers in the looming trade war between the United States and Europe

"This emerging trade war will impact our carmakers and equipment manufacturers. There will only be losers," the PFA said.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced plans for 25% import tariffs on all vehicles and foreign-made auto parts fuelling fears that a trade war could slow global growth.
