Comparable analyst estimates were not readily available.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was 4.89 billion euros, up from 4.76 billion euros a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 4.96 billion euros.

Shares of the company were down 6.8% in premarket activity.
