Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.44.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $288.8 million, compared with $253.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $283.7 million.

The company said it now expects 2025 net sales growth of about 13%, compared with its previous forecast of 13% to 16% increase.

Freshpet ( FRPT ) shares were up 9.4% in recent premarket activity.
