Freshpet's Q1 Swings to Loss, Revenue Rises; Trims 2025 Revenue Guidance

06:47 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Freshpet ( FRPT ) reported a Q1 loss Monday of $0.26 per diluted share, swinging from a profit of $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a profit of $0.05.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $263.2 million compared with $223.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $258.6 million.

The company trimmed its 2025 revenue forecast to $1.12 billion to $1.15 billion from $1.18 billion to $1.21 billion previously. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.17 billion.

Shares of the company fell about 3% in premarket activity.
