10:15 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- FREYR Battery (FREY) said Thursday that co-founder and board chair Tom Jensen has been named chief executive, succeeding Birger Steen, who is stepping down from the role.

The company also named director Daniel Barcelo as board chair and Evan Calio as chief financial officer.

Calio succeeds Oscar Brown, who is resigning for personal reasons, the company said.

Both Steen and Brown will remain with the company for a period to facilitate smooth transitions, FREYR said.
