11:42 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Friedman Industries ( FRD ) said Tuesday it plans to expand its facility on Steel Dynamics' campus in Sinton, Texas, to add space and laser cutting capabilities.

The project, expected to be completed in Q4, will include installation of laser cutting equipment for first-stage processing for cut-to-length sheet, the company said.

Shares of Friedman were up 1.7% in Tuesday trading.
