FTAI Aviation Says Audit Committee Review of Short Seller Report May Delay Annual Report; Shares Plunge
Jan 21, 2025 7:31 AM

10:12 AM EST, 01/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- FTAI Aviation ( FTAI ) said Tuesday its audit committee is reviewing allegations made in a short-seller report by Muddy Waters Research, which could potentially delay the filing of its 2024 annual report.

The company said its Chief Executive Joseph Adams is expected to address the report at an industry event later in the day.

"We believe such report mischaracterizes our business and that these misrepresentations are baseless and nonsensical," Adams is expected to say in prepared remarks shared by the company in a regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Muddy Waters did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of the company were down more than 31% in recent Tuesday trading.

Price: 82.93, Change: -29.45, Percent Change: -26.21
