11:36 AM EST, 11/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fubo (FUBO) and Comcast (CMCSA) unit NBCUniversal said Monday they're launching six NBCU Fast channels in Canada with sports, entertainment, news and Latino programs.

Fubo Canada's Sports, Entertainment and Premium plans will now have NBC News Now, Noticias Telemundo Ahora and Telemundo al Dia, the companies said, adding that three more English-language channels will be available in Canadian plans soon.

Financial details weren't provided.

Fubo shares were rising past 8% in recent trading, while Comcast was easing 0.5%.
