Fuji Soft Expresses Support for KKR's Second Tender Offer

11:15 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KKR's (KKR) second tender offer for Fuji Soft's common shares and share options received the Japanese IT company's support despite a new offer from Bain Capital, according to a Fuji Soft statement Tuesday that was translated from Japanese.

Bain Capital increased its offer price for Fuji Soft to 9,600 Japanese yen ($63) per share last week after KKR raised its tender offer price per share to 9,451 yen in November.

KKR, through FK, currently owns about a third of Fuji Soft after the completion of the first tender offer in early November.

KKR and Bain Capital didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
