07:23 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fury Gold Mines ( FURY ) said Monday that it finalized a number of drill targets at the Sakami gold project in Quebec.
The company said it aims to launch a first-phase drill campaign comprising 3,000-5,000 meters in late June, focusing on a discovery along a 23-kilometer-long gold-bearing structural corridor at the Juliette target.
Fury also aims to confirm historical mineralized intercepts at the La Pointe and La Pointe Extension targets, while conducting stepout drilling along strike and down plunge of a high-grade corridor identified at La Pointe extension.
"We are looking forward to commencing drilling later this month at the Sakami project, following our successful acquisition of Quebec Precious Metals (QPM.V)," said Tim Clark, CEO of Fury. "This project offers exciting discovery potential, and we believe it holds significant promise for value creation."
Fury's share price gained 1.4% on Friday to $0.73 on the TSX.
