07:39 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Fury Gold Mines ( FURY ) said on Monday that it commenced its 2025 drill campaign covering 4,000 meters to 6,000 meters at its Eleonore South gold project in Quebec.

Fury said drilling will target multi-faceted geological, geophysical and geochemical gold anomalies within the same sedimentary rock package that hosts the Eleonore mine.

The company is focused on six undrilled priority targets spanning over three kilometres of strike length.

"We believe this undrilled, extensive target represents substantial potential for a meaningful new discovery within our exploration pipeline," CEO Tim Clark said.

Fury's share price fell 6.8% on Friday to $0.55 on the TSX.
