G2 Goldfields Buying Two "Highly Prospective" Property Packages in Guyana

04:36 PM EST, 02/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- G2 Goldfields Inc. ( GUYGF ) , trading at a 52-week high, after trade Wednesday said it agreed to acquire two highly prospective property packages in Guyana's Region 7 for an undisclosed sum.

According to a statement, the company said the acquisitions "further expand and compliment the company's already extensive regional targets".

It said the Oko-Aremu area hosts world class gold resources, with a total resource exceeding 7.8 million ounces. G2 expects to publish an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) in the coming weeks, while continuing to drill the corridors of high-grade mineralization extending to the north.

The company's shares closed up $0.05 to $2.71, a 52-week high.
