08:58 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- G2 Goldfields ( GUYGF ) reported new assays from the greater Oko-Aremu district in Guyana, saying they expand the Oko discovery.
The company said it extended gold mineralization 200 meters down plunge from previous holes. Highlights included 49 m at 1.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 52 m at 1.1 g/t gold.
Infill drilling also confirmed near-surface, high-grade mineralization, with results including 49.5 m at 4.2 g/t gold and 37.0 m at 3.2 g/t gold.
G2 said it plans to release an updated resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment in the fourth quarter.
Shares of the company last closed up 9.2% at $3.31 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
