06:56 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- G2 Goldfields ( GUYGF ) on Tuesday released new drill results from the greater OKO-AREMU district of Guyana in the New Oko Discovery Area, which the company said included its best holes to date.
Drilling intersected broad zones of high-grade gold mineralization down plunge of the original discovery zone. Mineralization was intercepted at vertical depths of up to 150 meters, with a distinct high-grade zone encountered in the southwestern portion of the 700-meter-long zone.
Highlights include 5.9 grams per tonne gold over 60 meters, including 9.3 g/t gold over 22.5 meters; 22 g/t gold over 99.9 meters, including 5.5 g/t gold over 25.5 meters; and 3 g/t gold over 51 meters, including 6.3 g/t gold over 10.5 meters.
The New Oko Discovery Area represents the third significant gold discovery on the company's holdings. There are five drill rigs active in the Discovery Area.
An updated mineral resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment is expected in the fourth quarter.
