08:19 AM EDT, 04/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- G2 Goldfields ( GUYGF ) reported Monday the latest drill results from the Oko-Aremu district in Guyana.
Results include 41 meters at 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 50 meters at 1.1 g/t gold. The company said it continues to expand significant new gold discovery and that drilling has now established a strike length of nearly 500 meters with the auriferous zone remaining open to the southwest and northeast.
"This latest discovery is very important as it has the potential to significantly expand and enhance our existing multi-million ounce resource at Oko," Executive Chairman Patrick Sheridan said. "Additionally, the regional geochemical work continues to deliver other high priority targets which we will systematically drill in the coming weeks and months."
Almost all of the mineralized intercepts to date lie within near surface, heavily oxidized zones, the company added.
