Gain Therapeutics Names Gene Mack as Interim Chief Executive Officer

05:38 PM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gain Therapeutics ( GANX ) said late Thursday that it appointed Gene Mack, its chief financial officer, as interim chief executive officer, effective June 25.

Mack will retain his role as the CFO.

The company said the move followed the departure of its chief executive, Matthias Alder, to "pursue other opportunities."

Meanwhile, Khalid Islam, the company's chairman, will also be its executive chairman until a permanent CEO is appointed.
