07:13 AM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Galantas Gold ( GALKF ) on Thursday said its second-quarter net loss widened.

The company, which operates a gold mine in Omagh, Northern Ireland, said the net loss rose to $1.6 million from $1.35 million the year before.

It booked no revenue for the quarter, unchanged from last year. Concentrate sales provisional revenue was US$124,000 for the quarter, down from US$255,000 last year. Until the mine starts commercial production, the net proceeds from concentrate sales are being offset against development assets, the company said.
