Apr 12, 2024 7:16 AM

09:48 AM EDT, 04/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. ( BRPHF ) said Friday that it has raised gross proceeds of C$169.4 million by completing its previously announced bought deal financing.

The offering comprised 12.1 million ordinary shares on a bought-deal basis at C$14 apiece.

Certain shareholders, including Galaxy Group Investments LLC, have granted the underwriters an option to acquire up to an additional 1.8 million ordinary shares to cover any over-allotments, and for market-stabilization purposes.

The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes and working capital as outlined in its prospectus supplement to its base shelf prospectus dated March 26. Galaxy Digital ( BRPHF ) will not receive any proceeds from the sale of ordinary shares in connection with the over-allotment option.

The company's stock fell nearly 2% on last look on Friday in Canada.
