08:54 AM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Galaxy Digital Holdings ( BRPHF ) , which jumped 9.5% to 52 week highs yesterday, said Tuesday that it will raise C$136.5 million (near US$100 million) via a bought-deal public offering.
Canaccord Genuity is underwriting the offering, which includes almost 9.8 million ordinary shares priced at C$14 each.
Some shareholders, including Galaxy Group Investments, granted Canaccord an option to buy an additional 1.5 million ordinary shares at the offering price, exercisable in whole or in part for 30 days after the closing of the offering. If the over-allotment option is exercised in full, the selling shareholders will raise about C$20.5 million.
The offering is expected to close around April 12.
Galaxy Digital ( BRPHF ) will use the proceeds from the share sale as working capital and for general corporate purposes. The company won't receive any funds If shares are sold as part of the the over-allotment option.
