05:39 PM EDT, 04/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Galiano Gold ( GAU ) said late Tuesday it expects to produce 140,000 ounces to 160,000 ounces of gold in 2024, more than double its attributable production last year.
This year's all-in sustaining cost is expected to "slightly elevated" at $1,600 to $1,750 per ounce, mainly due to the waste stripping to access ore deposits at Abore open-pit mining area in Ghana.
For Q1, which ended March 31, Galiano said its Asanko Gold Mine produced 30,386 ounces, in-line with its expectations.
The company said it had $130.8 million in unaudited cash and cash equivalents and no debt as of March 31.
