08:51 AM EST, 03/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Garmin ( GRMN ) said Wednesday it expects to receive in Q2 Supplemental Type Certificate approval for its GFC 600H flight control system for retrofit in Airbus H130 helicopters.

The company said the system is designed to reduce pilot workload and includes features such as attitude hold, hover assist, and stability protection. It integrates with Garmin's ( GRMN ) avionics to provide navigation guidance, including fully coupled missed approaches, Garmin ( GRMN ) said.

The system will also be available as a factory-installed option in new H130 helicopters, the company said.
