Garmin Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Net Sales Rise; 2024 Guidance Raised

08:00 AM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Garmin ( GRMN ) reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings Wednesday of $1.58 per diluted share, up from $1.45 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.43.

Net sales for the 13 weeks ended June 29 were $1.51 billion, up from $1.32 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.43 billion.

The company said it now expects fiscal 2024 non-GAAP EPS of $6, up from $5.40 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $5.69.

Revenue for the full year is now expected to be $5.95 billion, compared with $5.75 billion previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $5.83 billion.

The company also said its board has set the payment date for the next quarterly dividend of $0.75 per share on Sept. 27 to shareholders as of Sept. 13.

Garmin ( GRMN ) shares rose 2.6% in recent premarket activity.
