Garrett Motion Q1 Earnings Increase, Sales Decrease; Shares Rise

10:37 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Garrett Motion ( GTX ) shares rose nearly 7% in recent trading after the company reported Q1 earnings Thursday of $0.30 per diluted share, up from $0.28 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected $0.29.

Sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $878 million, down from $915 million a year earlier.

One analyst surveyed by FactSet expected $843 million.

The company reiterated 2025 net sales outlook between $3.3 billion and $3.5 billion.

One analyst polled by FactSet expects $3.43 billion.
