04:51 PM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gatos Silver ( GATO ) said Wednesday it's raising its full year 2024 guidance for silver production and silver equivalent production.

Silver production is now expected to range from 9.2 million ounces to 9.7 million ounces, the company said, adding the original outlook was between 8.4 million and 9.2 million ounces.

Silver equivalent production is now seen between 14.7 million and 15.5 million ounces, Gatos said. The original guidance was between 13.5 million and 15 million ounces.

The company also reported an 11% increase in silver equivalent production to 3.84 million ounces in Q3 from a year earlier. Silver production was 9% higher at 2.42 million ounces than the same quarter of 2023.
